In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, Denali Ingredients has taken its responsibility very seriously to continue operations as an essential part of the food supply chain. We recognize the important role we play in making sure people have access to safe, quality food as we collectively face COVID-19.
We know this time is not easy on our employees, however we are very proud of our team working to keep our food supply moving. Given this, we have decided to increase our production team’s wages by $2 an hour.
“It is the right thing to do,” said President and CEO, Neal Glaeser, in an address to employees. “If you’re healthy and able, we need you here – your team needs you here – our customers need you here.”
The wage increase will be implemented for all hours worked from March 16 through April 24.
